Job summary

TransCore LP, a subsidiary of ST Engineering, seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead strategic, operational, and financial performance across ITS and mobility programs. This executive will drive profitability, market expansion, and delivery excellence for transportation agencies.

The role requires 15+ years of leadership, P&L accountability, and a PMP certification, with travel up to 30%. You will partner with senior leadership to ensure successful contracts and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, program management, transportation technology, ITS, or related industries.
• Proven track record leading large-scale operations with revenue, profitability, and performance objectives.
• Experience managing P&L responsibility, strategic planning, forecasting, and business development.
• Experience with complex customer relationships in public-sector transportation.
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed, multidisciplinary teams.
• PMI/ PMP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and full P&L accountability for assigned operations, including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve operational, financial, and growth objectives.
• Lead business development efforts by identifying market opportunities and supporting capture strategies for proposals and contracts.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams through workforce planning and succession planning.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive satisfaction and long-term success.
• Oversee delivery of projects ensuring performance, quality, schedule, and financial objectives.
• Monitor metrics and implement corrective actions to address risks.
