Job summary

The Equus Group in New York seeks a Head of Tokenization to bridge TradFi and DeFi, designing digital asset products while navigating regulatory rules in collaboration with engineering and compliance teams. You will drive platform strategy, research token standards, and validate blockchain solutions.

You will partner with technology, operations, legal, and compliance groups to integrate tokens safely, while meeting major investors and asset managers to showcase capabilities.

Qualifications

• Over 5 to 10 years of experience in the blockchain space, either at a protocol, in a BD org, or in an asset manager (blockchain-focused VP).
• Additional financial services experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, digital wallets, and DeFi tools.

Role Overview

A Head of Tokenization acts as a bridge between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). Required Experience

• Background: Over 5 to 10 years of experience in the blockchain space either at a protocol, in a BD org, or in an asset manager (blockchain focused VP). Additional financial services experience preferred
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, digital wallets, and DeFi tools.
• Market Knowledge: Strong grasp of traditional fund structures, clearing, settlement, and U.S. regulations.
• Education: A bachelor s degree in finance, business, technology, or a related field
