Trexquant Investment seeks an experienced quantitative researcher to lead our Systematic ETF Strategy Team in NYC, managing a team of researchers to design, implement, and trade ETF-based strategies within Trexquant's core framework.

The role requires 5+ years researching and trading ETF strategies, a STEM degree, and proven leadership. Proficiency in Python and backtesting is a plus; base salary ranges from $130k to $200k with potential discretionary bonus.

• 5+ years researching and trading ETF-based strategies.
• Proven leadership experience managing quantitative research teams.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python; backtesting experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of researchers to expand ETF capabilities with new data sources, signals, and strategies.
• Oversee design, backtesting, and implementation of systematic ETF trading strategies.
• Collaborate with development to improve ETF simulation and trading infrastructure.
• Coordinate with execution and financing teams to optimize trades and capital use.
• Work with risk to establish monitoring frameworks and allocations for ETF exposures.
• Present ETF research progress to senior management and align with firm strategy.
