Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Expertise in sensor technologies, signal processing and related domains.
• Proven leadership skills to inspire and guide a technical team.
• Strategic vision to align engineering with business objectives and trends.
• Track record of fostering innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication, decision-making under pressure, and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• 10+ years of progressive technical engineering or R&D leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the R&D strategy aligned with company objectives and roadmaps.
• Lead technology scouting, feasibility assessment, and concept exploration.
• Build and mentor a multidisciplinary R&D organization across engineering disciplines.
• Own R&D resource planning, budgeting, and process improvements.
• Ensure projects meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee NPI, validation, qualification, and product release activities.
• Drive platform-based development across product families to maximize reuse.
• Represent R&D in executive planning and customer-facing discussions.
