Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Manager- Application & AI Security to govern secure software delivery across AI and cloud usage. The role leads guardrails, security testing, SBOMs, and model governance to ensure safe AI adoption and strong risk controls.

You will drive CI/CD security, container integrity, and policy-based guardrails, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to protect apps and data throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field or 7+ years in security.
• 5+ years in application security/DevSecOps with team leadership.
• Hands‑on experience building guardrails-as-code in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Strong experience with SAST/DAST/SCA/secrets scanning and API security (Checkmarx, Veracode, Snyk).
• Knowledge of API security architectures (OAuth2, OWASP, CIS).
• Experience securing containers/Kubernetes and Iac, threat modeling, SBOM generation.

Responsibilities

• Own SDLC security governance per NIST SSDF and ISO 27001:2022 A.8.25–A.8.31.
• Own security guardrails for Contact Center tooling and platform security.
• Maintain CI/CD guardrails and pipeline security, manage PIM assignments.
• Lead application security testing across API, OWASP ASVS alignment.
• Own container/Kubernetes and IaC security scanning, threat modeling and SBOMs.
• Oversee cloud tenant security at the app/PaaS layer.
• Lead AI governance: LLM policy, model governance, data‑leakage controls.
• Manage AI‑agent runtimes with per‑tool call authorization and containment.
• Conduct prompt‑injection testing and LLM red‑teaming.
• Secure MCP and AI‑agent runtimes with guardrails.
