Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in biomedicine or related field or Master's in bioinformatics or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in biomedical data science, informatics or related area.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities for research teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development and deployment of scientific computing resources in LHNCBC.
• Advise the LHNCBC Director and leadership team on computing strategies and priorities.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and performance evaluations for the SCB team.
• Directly assess biomedical algorithms, data science methods, and AI/informatics tools.

Education

Doctoral degree in biomedicine or related field

Master's degree in bioinformatics or related field
