Job summary

A classical academy in Texas seeks a headmaster to lead its academic and administrative initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess a graduate degree, three years of administrative experience, and a passion for Classical Christian Education. Qualifications

Job description

Paris Classical Academy seeks God's candidate for headmaster. The successful applicant will inherit an excellent faculty (all with graduate degrees) and staff, a well-organized and visionary board practicing their appropriate role, establishing policy "from 30,000 feet," and delegating wise guidance and executive authority to the headmaster.

The successful candidate will meet all the following required qualifications and perhaps some of the preferred criteria:

• Male
• Reformed, but understands the broader evangelical mission and vision of the academy
• Deep understanding of, and passionate commitment to, CCE
• Graduate degree
• Three years of administrative experience
• Understanding of a collaborative university model
• Congeniality, personability, and hospitality
• Paris relocation (unless already a resident)
• Committed to a local church compatible with the academy's doctrinal statement
• Visionary
• Two recent professional references and one pastoral reference
