Brent Scarbrough & Company Inc in Newnan, GA is seeking a Safety Director to lead safety initiatives and loss‑control programs across its projects, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other construction standards.
You will develop safety visions and policies, train staff and subcontractors, investigate incidents, manage hazards, and oversee budgets and return‑to‑work programs, building a high‑performing, safety‑mocused team.
The ideal Safety Director will primarily be responsible for leading and managing Brent Scarbrough & Company's safety initiatives and safety loss control programs, in addition to the development of a safety and risk management culture dedicated to being the one all others emulate. The Safety Director assures our safety program complies with OSHA and other construction industry standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety, safety management, construction or
related field.
Minimum 10 years' experience in heavy civil construction safety management.
Minimum 5 years' experience managing & leading a structured safety program; self
performing general contractor or specialty contractor preferable.
In depth technical knowledge of construction related OSHA, federal, state, and local
regulatory standards, and ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement
effective corrective practices.
Experience managing staff and third party hired firms.
Must be an effective communicator, generating professional written material and
