Job summary

The Superior Court of Los Angeles County is seeking a dynamic leader to head the Research and Data Analytics Unit, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer. This role oversees centralized research, analytics, and high-volume reporting to support Court initiatives.

Responsibilities include directing the unit, implementing data management strategies, and ensuring data privacy and security compliance while collaborating with cross-department teams to drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Option I requires a Bachelor's degree and eight years in operations management, five years in a management capacity overseeing distinct, but related, administrative or operational units.
• Option II requires twelve years in operations management, five years in a management capacity overseeing distinct, but related, administrative or operational units.
• Note: credit for experience is based on a 40-hour workweek; part-time experience is credited on a pro rata basis.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the Research and Data Analytics Unit.
• Develop and implement comprehensive data management strategies.
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of court data.
• Collaborate with departments to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
