Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey seeks a Director of Quality and Risk Management at its Morristown location. The role partners with the CQO to oversee organization-wide quality programs and ensure compliance with PPFA standards and regulatory requirements.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (RN preferred) with 3+ years in quality/risk leadership, and willingness to travel 50% across New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field; RN credential/licensure strongly preferred.
• Three+ years’ experience in leadership in quality and/or risk management and/or regulatory compliance; knowledge of NJ/State & Federal laws.
• Valid driver’s license; reliable transportation for travel across New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Assist CQO in monitoring the agency-wide Quality and Risk Management calendar.
• Monitor compliance with PPFA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist CQO in surveys and oversee corrective action plans.
• Ensure licenses for Ambulatory Care and Laboratories are renewed and upgraded.
• Conduct chart audits and communicate findings to center staff to correct deficiencies.
• Oversee compliance with laboratory regulations; train staff to ensure lab proficiency.
• Review Medical Standards for alignment with NJ regulations; coordinate with CMO.
• Oversee billing and coding audits to identify risk areas in revenue cycle.
• Demonstrate commitment to Workplace Values and promote a great workplace.
• Travel throughout New Jersey is required for centers, offices, and affiliates.
• Participate in revenue cycle efforts, coding, and achieving revenue targets as budgeted.
• Perform additional duties to support mission and quality of services.
