Bee Green Recycling & Supply seeks a Head of Purchasing & Receiving to manage inventory ordering, sourcing, and record accuracy. The role requires budget awareness, supplier relations, and logistics coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.

You will lead a team handling purchasing, receiving, and inventory integrity, working closely with the Inventory Manager and Yard Supervisors to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain is advantageous.
• 4 years of recent experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain management may apply.

Responsabilités

• Maintain optimal stock levels by analyzing sales trends, seasonal demand, and usage.
• Collaborate with yard staff and inventory manager to identify upcoming inventory needs.
• Generate and manage purchase orders (POs) and coordinate scheduling with Logistics Coordinator.
• Monitor inventory turnover to prevent shortages or overages.
• Ensure purchases stay within budgeted constraints.
• Oversee incoming shipments and verify quality and records.
• Supervise receiving team for accurate counting and recording.
• Resolve discrepancies with suppliers (short shipments, damaged goods).
• Maintain detailed records of purchases, shipments, and adjustments.
• Assist in periodic inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Track open POs and follow up with vendors.
