Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Project Manager to direct all aspects of customer benefit plan implementations for self‑funded New Business Clients. You will lead planning, assign resources, and ensure milestones are met while aligning with budget constraints.

With 5–7 years of healthcare client‑facing experience, you will manage relationships, resolve issues, and drive successful delivery of healthcare products and implementations.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of healthcare client‑facing experience, including direct management of client relationships, issue resolution, and successful delivery of healthcare products or implementation initiatives.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess risks and drive issues to resolution.
• Proven execution and delivery skills, including prioritizing work and coordinating cross‑functional resources to achieve objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Comprehensive understanding and association with Aetna organizations representing products, services, administration, operations and systems.
• Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training or equivalent work experience.

• Develop project plans and milestones, assign team members, define deliverables and deadlines.
• Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

• Coach junior colleagues in project management techniques and processes.

The Project Manager is responsible for directing all aspects of customer benefit plan implementation of Self- funded New Business Clients. In this position with all key internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify and address critical implementation issues ensuring customer expectations are consistently satisfied or exceeded.

Under general direction, lead the planning and execution of key organizational projects, ensuring consistent alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budget constraints. Develop project plans and team member assignments, defines specific deliverables and deadlines, and establishes project milestones for the organization. Conduct project post-mortems to capture and apply lessons learned to identify areas for improvement and shares process enhancements to optimize project management practices. Implement and enforce quality control processes to identify and resolve any deviations or deficiencies. Develop change management plans and strategies to minimize resistance and ensure successful adoption. Identify project risks and issues, develops risk mitigation strategies, and establishes contingency plans. Prepare and deliver project progress reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies. Direct individuals to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjust priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest level of attention to detail. Coach junior colleagues in current project management techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

5 to 7 years of healthcare client-facing experience, including direct management of client relationships, issue resolution, and successful delivery of healthcare products, services, or implementation initiatives.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks, recommend solutions, and drive issues to resolution within established timelines.

Proven execution and delivery skills, including prioritizing work, managing competing deadlines, coordinating cross‑functional resources, and achieving established business objectives.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Comprehensive understanding and strong association with Aetna organizations representing products, services, administration, operations and systems.

Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. Equivalent work experience.

Full time Pay Range

54,300.00 - $159,120.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
