Job summary

FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, California is seeking a Product Planning Manager to oversee demand-to-supply planning, master production scheduling, and inventory strategy across multiple FLBI production sites. You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize schedules, and ensure on-time delivery while managing supply risks and chargebacks for special materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree or equivalent work experience required.
Degree concentration in supply chain, operations, maths, economics, purchasing or related field preferred.
ASCM or ISM certification preferred but not required.
At least 7 years planning experience in biotech/pharma manufacturing or similar.
At least 5 years of people management experience.
Production scheduling experience in ERP or inventory planning tools.

Responsibilities

Own demand-to-supply planning and translate forecasts into manufacturing plans.
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve constraints and meet customer demand.
Set inventory strategy for Off the Shelf finished goods and minimize backorders.
Govern special-material purchase requests with chargebacks and traceability.
Own and improve the master production schedule for FLBI-CA products.
Direct accuracy of manufacturing dates in sales systems for commitments.
Chair weekly SDI review and align process orders with demand.
Oversee monthly scrap management and disposition of expired materials.
Publish rolling 12-week MPS and address execution risks.
Lead development/adoption of logistics and planning tools for supply chain.
Own planning metrics, set targets, and sponsor continuous improvement.
Establish planning policies aligning Materials Management and Sourcing.
Lead BOM, demand, and supply change assessments.
Coordinate manufacturing, packaging, labeling, shipping, distribution.
Develop direct reports and foster accountability and growth.
Other duties as assigned.
