About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Product with 8+ years of experience to lead product strategy, development, and execution at a fast-growing AI startup.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who has built products from 0 to 1, worked in high‑growth, VC‑backed startups, and knows how to turn ideas into successful products.

You'll work directly with executive leadership and engineering teams to define the product roadmap, drive execution, and scale AI‑powered solutions across consumer, professional, and enterprise markets.

The ideal candidate is a technical product leader who combines strong product vision with hands‑on execution, understands modern AI technologies, and thrives in an early‑stage startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap and strategy across consumer, professional, and enterprise AI products.
• Lead end-to-end product development, from initial concept and requirements through launch and ongoing improvements.
• Work closely with engineering teams to define priorities, write product specifications, and manage releases.
• Drive 0-to-1 product development while improving and scaling existing products.
• Lead product design and improve user engagement, adoption, and retention.
• Manage customer feedback, prioritize feature requests, and translate business needs into product decisions.
• Work with enterprise customers to address privacy, security, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Track product performance, measure results, and continuously improve the user experience.
• Lead and manage a product team of 3–5 people, with the opportunity to expand the team as the company grows.
• Collaborate directly with executive leadership on product strategy, delivery timelines, and business priorities.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, including product leadership responsibilities.
• Experience owning product roadmaps within AI-focused engineering teams.
• Proven experience building and launching 0-to-1 products at a high‑growth, VC‑backed startup (Seed to Series D).
• Experience leading and managing a product team of 3–5 people.
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM‑powered products, AI agents, and modern AI development tools.
• Hands‑on familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and agentic AI platforms.
• Strong background in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or marketplace products.
• Experience managing product delivery, engineering collaboration, and release schedules.
• Ability to balance product strategy with day‑to‑day execution.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Los Altos, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Founding Product Manager, first product hire, or early product leader at an AI startup.
• Previous software engineering or technical development background.
• Experience building AI‑native products and working closely with LLM technologies.
• Experience developing or scaling two‑sided marketplace platforms.
• Experience with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to hire, mentor, and grow product teams.
