Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Director of Operations, Culture and Engagement in Colorado to lead organizational effectiveness and employee engagement for a 70+ staff unit. You will oversee a $2M+ budget, supervise a multidisciplinary team, and drive multi-year strategic plans across functions.

You will partner with Finance, HR, Conservation, and External Affairs to deliver integrated initiatives and strengthen culture and operational excellence within the Colorado Business Unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years related experience or equivalent combination, including 3 years managing operations functions.
• Experience developing and administering departmental budget of $2M+.
• Experience managing and supervising a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience developing, managing and implementing multiple projects and strategic goals.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple organizational levels.
• Experience, coursework, or other training in principles, practices, and procedures of relevant field.
• Experience developing and implementing multi-year strategic plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for organizational effectiveness, workplace culture, employee engagement, and operational excellence across the Colorado Business Unit.
• Translate business unit strategy into integrated Operations, Culture and Engagement work plans.
• Lead operational follow-through and align resources with teams across the unit.
