Job description

"Level up the company with operational excellence."

Glow is a voice AI coach helping Gen Z women lose weight through daily conversations and personalized meal plans.

We need a Head of Operations to be the founder's force-multiplier: someone who owns everything operational, from finance and vendors to the clinic's patient and reimbursement workflows, so the founder can stay on vision, strategy, fundraising, and recruiting.

The Role

You'll own two halves of the company. On the business side: finance and payroll, vendor and people ops, recruiting operations, investor and KOL coordination, and whatever special project is on fire that week. On the clinical side: GLP-1 patient management, Medicare and insurance reimbursement, pharmacy, labs, and telehealth vendor relationships, regulatory tracking, and kicking off clinical research.

You will report directly to the founder, a medical doctor turned engineer, and work where there is no process yet. This seat is measured by one thing: the team moves faster because you exist.

You will:
  • Build systems where there are none: turn ad-hoc work into repeatable operations
  • Run business ops end to end: finance, payroll, vendors, people ops, recruiting support
  • Own the clinical engine: GLP-1 patient management, Medicare and insurance reimbursement, pharmacy, labs, and telehealth vendors
  • Track the regulatory landscape and kick off clinical research
  • Be the founder's second brain on whatever needs to ship this week
You've done this before if:
  • You build order from chaos. You've owned undefined, process-less work and turned it into a system
  • You've run real operations. Vendors, payroll, hiring, and healthcare ops, several at once, nothing dropped
  • You're plugged into the healthcare landscape. You track GLP-1, Medicare, FDA, and reimbursement shifts and can explain why they matter
  • You own the unglamorous. You measure success by the team's velocity, not by who gets the credit
  • You've run something yourself. You've operated a business and moved real money, not just read about opsYou've done healthcare, digital-health, or telehealth ops
  • You've navigated Medicare or insurance coverage applications
  • Consulting (MBB) or founder background
  • High talent density (4 people) and massive ownership
  • Work directly with the founder
  • Based in San Francisco, in the room where it happens
What We Value
  • Raw intelligence It's an ever-changing world. The smartest people are the ones who are always learning and adapting.
  • Get shit done We respect people who do things with their bare hands. We don't respect people who just talk about doing things. No bullshit.
  • Customer obsession Everything starts with what customers actually need. Always stay close to the customer.
  • Speed Ship fast, learn faster. Measure work in hours, not days.
  • 2. Tell us about a process you built from zero, and what it looked like before and after
  • 3. Tell us about something you've owned end to end (a business or P&L you ran, or a healthcare-ops function)
  • 4. Name one GLP-1, Medicare, or reimbursement shift you are tracking and why it matters

No resume needed. Show us what you've run.
