Job summary

Confluent Medical Technologies is seeking a Senior Director, New Product Development to lead the development, commercialization, and transfer of medical device technologies across the enterprise. This role drives strategy, portfolio governance, and cross-functional execution with a focus on customer outcomes.

The leader will direct a multi-site organization, ensuring alignment with FDA/ISO 13485 requirements, manufacturability, and operational readiness while fostering a culture of innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 18+ years of progressive engineering, product development, and technical leadership in medical device industry.
• 10+ years of leadership directing managers and senior technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site organization for development, commercialization, and transfer of medical technologies and products.
• Establish and execute portfolio governance, investment priorities, and program execution from concept to manufacturing transfer.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to align technical investments with business objectives.
• Drive technology strategy, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement across product development activities.
