Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an IT leader to direct the Networking and Infrastructure teams across multiple facilities. You will design, implement and govern the infrastructure for networking, server and storage, aligning with organizational strategy and patient outcomes.

Lead a team of managers, manage budgets and vendor contracts, ensure security standards, and drive initiatives from planning through execution in a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for service lines within the IS Technical Services teams.
• Direct and manage work and operations of the Network and Infrastructure Teams delivering IT services across Piedmont Healthcare facilities.
• Oversee daily operations of staff in IT infrastructure (wireless networks, WAN, LAN, switches/routers, virtualization, public cloud, security, storage).
• Manage vendor contracts, lifecycle of infrastructure, RFPs, capacity, response time and network uptime.
• Develop and maintain IS infrastructure strategic plans and budgets with executive leadership.
• Ensure IS security standards alignment and advise on infrastructure for specific service lines.
• Mentor staff, monitor KPIs and contribute to strategy through leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer technology or science, business administration, or a closely related field

Master's degree in one of the areas listed above
