Job summary

Helios is hiring a Head of Hardware to own the physical product from design through energized, running capacity at site. You will design modular GPU data centers, integrate power, cooling, and compute, and drive the roadmap for future modules.

Qualifications

• Delivered multi-MW GPU deployments with live capacity.
• Fluent direct liquid cooling knowledge.
• Deep experience with high-density power distribution.
• Background in modular, prefab, or systems integration.
• Strong supplier management and OEM coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own the module design and build for modular GPU data centers.
• Own platform roadmap for successive module generations.
• Run integration line from build to ship of repeatable units.
• Lead thermal architecture and direct liquid cooling end to end.
• Manage power distribution and medium-voltage systems.
• Oversee supplier/OEM programs and long-lead items.
• Deliver modules on site with EPC and O&M partners.
• Build and lead hardware engineering and deployment teams.
• Coordinate with GTM and software to align capability and timelines.
• Act as senior technical voice externally with vendors and community.
• Work in a player-coach capacity on design reviews and on-site.
