Job summary

Aurion Biotech Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Manufacturing Business Operations & Strategy to provide strategic and operational leadership across Manufacturing during late-stage development, BLA submission, and commercialization.

The role requires blending technical biologics/cell therapy manufacturing knowledge with commercial operations acumen to optimize capacity, networks, and lifecycle management while aligning with senior leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in MSAT, Manufacturing, or PD for biologics/cell therapies.
• Experience in late-stage / commercial cell and gene therapy.
• Proven track record managing books of work, contracts, and technical strategies.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and CMC sections.

Responsibilities

• Own the Manufacturing team book of work with schedules, milestones and budgets.
• Lead Manufacturing SOW, contract, budget, PO, and invoice management.
• Support leadership to develop integrated late-stage and commercialization timelines.
• Develop risk-based manufacturing scenarios and contingency plans.
• Lead commercialization and manufacturing network planning across sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
