Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC in Albert Lea, MN seeks a hands-on Head of Maintenance. This role oversees all maintenance, repair, and preventative tasks for the travel center, leading multiple trades and ensuring safe, regulatory-compliant operations.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing, electrical, and fuel systems, with the ability to troubleshoot a wide range of equipment and respond to after‑hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience maintaining fuel systems and travel center equipment preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of equipment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance operations for the travel center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on facility equipment and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, walk‑in coolers, refrigeration equipment, boilers, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain and repair fuel dispensing equipment and ensure compliance with UST regulations.
• Operate, maintain, and repair snow removal equipment, including plow trucks.
• Perform general facility repairs including doors, lighting, flooring, fixtures, painting, and exterior maintenance.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspections, and regulatory documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and company standards.
• Respond to after‑hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
