Jobgether is seeking an experienced Head of Litigation in the United States to lead both affirmative actions and defensive disputes for a fast-growing healthcare technology company. You will shape strategy across antitrust, regulatory enforcement, and complex contracts, partnering with executive leadership and outside counsel to advance business goals.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of experience litigating complex commercial disputes.
• Demonstrated experience initiating disputes and building affirmative cases.
• Deep expertise in antitrust, unfair competition, complex contractual disputes, and regulatory enforcement.
• Healthcare and technology industry experience strongly preferred; other highly regulated industries also considered.
• Strong strategic judgment to determine when affirmative action is warranted.
• Proven ability to develop litigation strategy, direct investigations, evaluate evidence, and build persuasive arguments.
• Excellent legal writing skills, with polished, rigorous written work.
• Commercial awareness and ability to connect legal outcomes with business objectives.
• Experience selecting and managing outside counsel and controlling budgets.
• Ability to engage credibly with technical teams on APIs and software infrastructure.

Aufgaben

• Own affirmative litigation and disputes from theories to filings and demand letters.
• Lead investigations and evidence development before disputes arise.
• Develop and execute strategies involving antitrust, unfair competition, and regulatory enforcement.
• Determine when to pursue litigation, regulatory action, settlements, or other outcomes.
• Manage regulatory enforcement initiatives (HIPAA, state insurance regulators, antitrust authorities).
• Defend the organization in commercial disputes as products expand.
• Partner with executive leadership to align litigation strategy with business priorities.
• Select and oversee outside counsel, define engagement scope, and control budgets.
• Build and maintain litigation infrastructure (holds, discovery readiness, privilege management).
• Identify opportunities to automate legal workflows to increase efficiency.
• Provide leadership with risk assessments and clear recommendations to senior leadership.
• Monitor developments in healthcare transaction infrastructure, technology, and payments.
