AirOps seeks its first Head of Legal to establish and lead the legal function as the company scales. You will partner with the executive team across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and People to shape strategy, contracts, and governance while driving efficient, compliant growth.

You will negotiate enterprise SaaS agreements, MSAs, DPAs, and partnerships, advise on data rights and risk, and implement AI-enabled workflows to accelerate business decisions without compromising legal integrity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of legal experience.
• Experience at top-tier law firm and in-house at a high-growth tech company.
• Experience negotiating sophisticated enterprise commercial agreements and advising executives.
• Practical knowledge of privacy, data protection, IP, AI, software, and tech transactions.
• Experience with governance, financings, equity, employment, risk management, and outside counsel.
• Ability to operate as a department of one or lead a legal function in scale.
• Strong business judgment and clear communication; solutions-focused.
• Willingness to leverage AI tools and systems thinking in legal workflows.
• Active bar membership in at least one US state and able to practice in California.

Responsabilités

• Establish and lead AirOps's legal function and strategy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise SaaS agreements, MSAs, DPAs, SOWs, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
• Advise on pricing, liability, indemnification, data rights, and other commercial issues.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Security across the product lifecycle.
• Monitor AI, privacy, data protection, and regulatory developments affecting AI and marketing tech.
• Oversee corporate governance, financings, equity matters, and investor diligence.
• Build the legal team and contracting workflows; implement CLM and AI-assisted processes.
• Embed with cross-functional teams and communicate recommendations clearly.
