Connections for the Homeless in Illinois seeks a Senior Director of Advocacy to lead strategy and operations for state, county, and municipal policy efforts aimed at expanding affordable housing. You will manage a team, guide cross‑department collaboration, and build a scalable advocacy program with chapters and partners across the region.

You will oversee policy development, data-driven reporting, and engagement with officials, coalitions, and communities to advance housing solutions.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years in advocacy, public policy, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of leadership and people management experience.
• Experience leveraging technology, data, and digital organizing tools to strengthen advocacy.
• Strong external relationship-building, coalition engagement, and public advocacy skills.
• Experience with lobbying regulations and reporting requirements is desirable.
