Job summary

L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the property’s engineering, maintenance, and facility operations, reporting to the Director of Engineering. This role leads the engineering team to deliver safe, efficient, and luxurious operations across all hotel systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hotel maintenance, strong mechanical and HVAC knowledge, and a track record of team leadership and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years general maintenance experience, hotel/lodging environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical operations and safety standards.
• HVAC knowledge and related certifications are required or highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations of hotel systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety.
• Lead and mentor engineering staff; schedule training and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, inspections, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
