Job summary

SpinPlay Games Inc. seeks a Math Director to lead the strategy, governance, and development of the Game Mathematics function. You will guide performance, talent development, and portfolio priorities while partnering with executives to deliver engaging, regulator-ready online slot games.

You will oversee math models, validation, and risk management, ensuring alignment with product goals and player experience across markets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related quantitative field.
10+ years in iGaming mathematics or slot-game development.
5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams across multiple games/markets.
Expert knowledge of slot mathematics including RTP, volatility, prize distributions, jackpots, and feature balancing.
Strong business judgment with experience managing budgets, resources, and risk.

Responsibilities

Set strategy, standards, and priorities for online slot-game mathematics across the product portfolio.
Lead, mentor, and develop Game Mathematicians, allocating resources across games.
Oversee design and approval of slot math models (reels, paytables, bonuses, jackpots).
Ensure RTP, volatility, hit frequency, and prize distribution meet product goals.
Establish practices for mathematical calculations, simulations, validation, and code review.
Review high-risk game designs and provide mathematical direction for regulatory tradeoffs.
Partner with Design, Engineering, and Operations to deliver compliant games.
Develop reusable simulation tools, math libraries, and development processes.
Monitor market performance and translate findings into improvements.
