Job summary

DSJ Global seeks a Director of Manufacturing to provide strategic leadership for all plant operations in a food and beverage environment. The role drives safety, quality, productivity, cost control and continuous improvement while building and guiding manufacturing teams to achieve goals.

You will lead Lean and Six Sigma programs, monitor KPIs, ensure GMP/HACCP/FDA/USDA compliance, and collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering and HR to meet business objectives and oversee capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Food Science, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in food and beverage.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FDA, USDA regulations.
• Proven track record improving performance, productivity, quality and cost metrics.
• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations, including production, safety, quality, and maintenance.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, service, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (GMP, HACCP, FDA, USDA).
• Develop and mentor production leadership teams.
• Manage budgets, labor utilization, and operational costs.
• Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering and HR to achieve objectives.
• Support capital projects, process improvements, and facility growth initiatives.
