Unknown is seeking a VP of Finance in Chicago to lead cash flow management, capital strategy, and financial operations for a high-end real estate development company. You will partner with the CEO to drive growth, oversee financing, and coordinate accounting and FP&A across multiple projects.

The role requires a strong background in real estate finance, with 10+ years in senior financial leadership, and a track record of managing complex capital structures and investor relations.

Formación

• 10+ years as a Head of Finance or Accounting in real estate development or construction.
• Experience managing cash flow across multiple projects and overseeing banking relationships.
• Experience with investor relations, financial reporting, FP&A, and tax coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee cash flow management, liquidity, and capital allocation across projects.
• Manage lender relationships, construction loans, and financing terms.
• Support raising capital from private investors in the U.S. including meetings and investor materials.
• Monitor company and project profitability, identify variances and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Ensure timely financial reporting at company and project levels with clear insights.
• Partner with the CEO on strategic financial decisions and drive execution.
• Lead accounting team and coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors.
• Lead FP&A processes: budgets, forecasts, metrics, and variance analyses.
• Maintain internal controls and oversee tax compliance with external advisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.
