Job summary

Cocopah is seeking a Facilities Director to lead the Facilities Department across casino, hotel, event center and related properties. You will steward preventive maintenance, manage annual budgets, and ensure safe, compliant operations while coordinating with other departments and public works.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or facilities management, 5 years of leadership in building systems, and ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities, or construction management.
• 5 years of managerial experience in building mechanical engineering and maintenance.
• Must be AZ Dept of Gaming and Tribal Gaming Office certified or able to obtain.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret as-built drawings.
• Strong communication and staff leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish goals, direction, and vision for preventive maintenance and replacement of end-of-life equipment.
• Develop and maintain the Facilities operating budgets across maintenance, grounds, and shipping.
• Direct development and assessment of Facilities policies and procedures.
• Coordinate communication of procedures to Facilities team and casino departments.
• Hire, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate Facilities staff.
• Collaborate with the Director of Cocopah Public Works, Emergency Preparedness Director, and Cocopah/Somerton Fire Department.
• Manage supply and demand of casino supplies and equipment including servicing for vehicles and lift equipment.
• Learn and comply with the System of Minimum Internal Control Standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
