Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead the Entra ID Service, shaping authentication, directory services, and enterprise identity across Microsoft 365 and critical applications. This role will partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions in a large financial services environment.

Qualifications

10–12 years of experience in information security or related technology; securities/financial services a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
Significant experience in Identity and Access Management or authentication engineering.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and enterprise identity architecture.
Experience supporting identity services for Microsoft 365 and enterprise apps.
Understanding of SSO, MFA, conditional access, federation, RBAC, and privileged access.
Experience in large, complex enterprise environments with focus on security, scale, and operational excellence.
Ability to partner with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the strategic expansion and engineering roadmap for Entra ID service.
Design, implement, and enhance identity services for Microsoft 365 and enterprise apps.
Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and workplace tech teams to deliver scalable identity solutions.
Drive improvements in authentication, access control, federation, and lifecycle management.
Define and implement operational standards, platform controls, and service reliability practices.
Contribute to IAM initiatives including modernization, automation, and risk reduction.
Ensure solutions align with cybersecurity standards and enterprise architecture.
Support issue resolution, platform stability, and continuous improvement.
Participate in strategic planning, governance, and priority setting for identity capabilities.
Mentor team members and foster a risk-aware engineering culture.
