Head Of Engineering - NY Hybrid - Salary up to $275K+Equity

An AI startup is quietly building infrastructure that stops large enterprises from haemorrhaging money through broken financial workflows. Contracts, invoices, payment systems - they fix the mess that nobody else has solved properly. $75B in assets under management on the platform. Serious backing. Growing fast.

They're looking for a Head of Engineering to own the technical execution from here.

This isn't a hands-off leadership role. You'd be close to the code, setting the architecture, building the team, and working directly with the founder on how the product gets built. Real equity. Real authority. Real impact.

The team is still small and that's kind of the point. They want someone who's already operated at this level - who's led engineering teams, made architectural decisions under pressure, and knows what good looks like at an early-stage company moving fast. If you've held a Head of Engineering, VP Engineering, or equivalent title and you've done it in a startup environment, this is worth a look.
