Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains is seeking a Director of Operations - Early Childhood to provide strategic leadership across all ECE programs. You will oversee curriculum, licensing, staff development, family engagement, and fiscal responsibility to ensure program quality in multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, education, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership in Early Childhood Education.
• Multi-site management experience preferred.
• Experience with childcare licensing, accreditation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, staffing, and program operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all Early Childhood Education programs across the organization.
• Develop and implement a unified vision for ECE programming aligned with the mission.
• Establish and monitor quality standards across all childcares, preschool, and early learning sites.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate program quality, compliance, and staff performance.
• Ensure consistency of policies and practices across locations.
• Develop strategic plans for program growth and sustainability.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and alignment with state standards.
• Monitor assessment systems and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with site leadership to ensure high-quality instructional practices.
• Ensure licensing compliance and oversee visits/inspections.
• Develop and maintain policies supporting compliance and excellence.
• Recruit, hire, and develop ECE leadership staff.
• Engage families and community partners to support enrollment and outcomes.
