Job summary

The Door in New York, NY is seeking an Assistant Director of Data Systems and Solutions to oversee Salesforce, Azure SQL databases, and data workflows. You will partner with program and operations teams to align systems with service delivery and reporting needs.

You will supervise the Data Services Manager, manage external consultants, and help drive technology strategy, data quality, and AI-enabled initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience leading enterprise data systems or CRM platforms.
• At least one year supervising staff.
• Salesforce Administrator or related certification.
• Experience with Azure, SQL Server, data warehouses/lakes, ETL or API integrations.
• Excellent communication; translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration, reporting, data models, and automation.
• Able to guide development including SQL, integrations, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead data systems strategy and oversee Salesforce admin and data platforms.
• Supervise Data Services Manager and coordinate external consultants.
• Develop roadmaps, gather requirements, define user stories, coordinate releases.
• Partner with program leaders to translate needs into tech solutions.
• Build dashboards and ad-hoc reports for programmatic decisions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and user adoption of systems.
• Provide training, documentation, and support across departments.
• Manage security, data privacy, and responsible AI initiatives.
