Job description

ZoomInfo is where careers accelerate. We move fast, think boldly, and empower you to do the best work of your life. You’ll be surrounded by teammates who care deeply, challenge each other, and celebrate wins. With tools that amplify your impact and a culture that backs your ambition, you won’t just contribute. You’ll make things happen–fast.

You will own how ZoomInfo grows its data advantage through external relationships — the licensing deals, revenue shares, co-sell motions, and acquisition theses that keep our supply ahead of the market. This is not a vendor-management role; it is a strategic function that spans hundreds of suppliers across company, contact, identity, and signal data worldwide. You will decide what we buy, what we build, what we trade for, and what we should own outright, and you will be accountable for the coverage, accuracy, and unit economics of the entire portfolio.

What You’ll Do
  • You will own the multi-year data supply and partnership strategy, maintaining a live view of the global data market by domain and geography so ZoomInfo always knows where the next structural advantage comes from.
  • You will make the build-buy-partner-acquire call on every major data opportunity and defend that recommendation to executive leadership.
  • You will build and run co-sell and joint go-to-market motions with strategic partners, in partnership with Sales, Product Marketing, and Alliances, from commercial construct through enablement and pipeline accountability.
  • You will source and shape acquisition opportunities, developing the thesis for owning an asset versus renting it and partnering with Corporate Development through diligence and integration planning.
  • You will own the supplier portfolio end-to-end, including sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, renewal, and rationalization, and you will manage total portfolio cost and cost per usable record.
  • You will design and run rigorous data evaluations, defining tests that measure net-new lift and accuracy and producing recommendations backed by numbers, not vendor claims.
  • You will represent ZoomInfo to partner executives, building the senior relationships that make ZoomInfo the first call when a partner has something worth bringing, and you will drive outcomes across product, engineering, sales, legal, and procurement without relying on formal authority.
  • You will move deals through Legal, Privacy, Security, and Procurement while ensuring every data source is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and regional data protection requirements.
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 8+ years in data partnerships, strategic partnerships, business development, or data acquisition, with direct ownership of external relationships and their commercial outcomes
  • Proven track record negotiating and closing third-party data agreements, including non-standard constructs such as revenue share, reciprocal exchange, co-development, exclusivity, or joint go-to-market
  • Demonstrated strategic judgment, having built a supply or partnership strategy for a category rather than executing against a fixed requirements list
  • Hands-on analytical ability to independently interrogate an evaluation result, challenge a methodology, and distinguish a real coverage gain from a well-presented one
  • Deep understanding of B2B data domains, including firmographics, contact, identity, intent, and technographics, and experience designing structured evaluations for coverage, accuracy, freshness, and match rate
  • Working fluency with data privacy frameworks, including GDPR and CCPA, and how they constrain data sourcing, usage, and redistribution
  • Commercial ownership of a spend envelope or partnership P&L, including experience making consolidation or termination calls, paired with the executive presence to be credible with a CDO or CFO audience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in business development, corporate strategy, or M&A, including sourcing, diligence, or integration of a data asset
  • Experience running a co-sell or alliance motion with revenue accountability, not just a signed partnership agreement
  • Experience acquiring global data, including regional suppliers, public business registries, or non-US contact and company sources
  • Familiarity with multi-source enrichment economics, such as waterfalls and per-match pricing, and the identity data ecosystem

Actual compensation offered will be based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, qualifications, skills, experience and/or training. We want our employees and their families to thrive.

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.

$143,500—$225,500 USD
