Job summary

Kiteworks is seeking a Director of Data & Analytics to design and scale the data infrastructure, from raw telemetry to executive dashboards. Lead a team of data engineers and analysts, set the technical direction, and ship alongside the team when it counts.

This builder's leadership role balances day-to-day delivery with turning data into a trusted asset for the whole organization. You will partner across product, finance, sales, and operations to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in data engineering, analytics, or BI.
• 2+ years leading and managing a team.
• Experience designing and building data pipelines and telemetry ingestion in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
• Proficiency with modern data stack tooling — SQL, a cloud data warehouse, and pipeline/orchestration tools.
• Experience defining metrics and building trusted reporting for leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of data engineers and data analysts; set priorities and hire.
• Design, reliability, and performance of ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Own architecture and cost/performance of the data warehouse as the single source of truth.
• Evolve data lake/warehouse, BI tools, and CRM integrations for cost, performance, and scalability.
• Lead telemetry, instrumentation standards and event pipelines for analytics.
• Own BI layer and reporting; define metrics and ensure trusted numbers for leadership.
• Establish data quality, documentation, access, lineage, and security standards in partnership with security and compliance.
• Collaborate with product, finance, sales, and operations to translate business questions into data models and insights.
