Job summary

Shasta College is seeking an Administrator of Data Analytics and Reporting to lead the MIS, 320 reporting, and internal data services for the District. The role directs a team, drives data-driven decision-making, and ensures compliant reporting across departments.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of supervisory data analytics experience, with a typical 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. schedule, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years professional and supervisory experience related to developing or supporting data analytics and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises the daily operations and activities of the district’s data analytics and reporting functions.
• Analyzes existing data and reporting processes and makes necessary modifications to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develops, writes, tests, and updates data analytics programs and applications; identifies data-related issues and develops effective solutions.
• Researches federal, state, and local requirements to design and implement data analytics solutions for District needs.
• Provides technical leadership to the Information Services department and the District.
• Oversees training sessions for data analytics and reporting system users; monitors milestones and deliverables.
