Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Manager, Data and Insights to build and lead a North American Stores Customer Insights team for AI-driven analytics. You will helm data, BI, and AI-enabled insights initiatives, shaping decision-making across Amazon and Prime.

You will drive a new analytics charter, blend BI with AI-native approaches, and scale self-service insights while partnering with product, engineering, and finance leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 11+ years in data analytics or data engineering roles.
• 5+ years leading BI/analytics teams with people management.
• Strong Python scripting and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
• Ability to translate data into business recommendations for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own data, analytics, insights, and AI-enabled analytics for US Prime & Marketing Technology.
• Lead and coach BIEs, BAs, and Data Engineers; set standard for AI-assisted tooling.
• Develop, launch, and scale self-service analytics and natural-language data access.
• Design governed data models, semantic layers, and agent integrations for AI.
• Deliver insights shaping strategy for North American Stores and US Prime.
• Partner with executives to drive data-driven decisions.
