Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a Chief Data/AI Engineer to lead enterprise data engineering and operations across security enclaves in the United States. You will prepare and execute the Enterprise Data Engineering and Operations Plan (EDEOP) and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive data strategy.

You will mentor junior engineers, set standards, and drive roadmap evolution while aligning data solutions with program objectives. Strong communication and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• SECRET Security Clearance Required.
• SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CCSP, CISSP for Senior roles.
• Junior: 0-3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree.
• Journeyman: 4-7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree.
• Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise data engineering and operations support across security enclaves.
• Develop and execute the Enterprise Data Engineering and Operations Plan (EDEOP).
• Coordinate data engineering, data operations, data tooling, and data governance teams.
• Establish data standards, review data solutions, and drive data strategy.
• Mentor junior data engineers and stay current with emerging data tech.
