Tarzan & Jane Travel Centers seeks a Director of Food & Hospitality to lead multi-unit kitchens, ensuring top quality and speed. You will own the grab-and-go program, set standards, and coach Kitchen Managers across stores to deliver craveable, consistent meals daily.

The role requires a strong background in multi-unit food operations, menu design, and leadership. Expect hands-on kitchen involvement and a family-style culture that values growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in multi-unit food operations, at director or area manager level.
• Experience running a kitchen that cooks from raw product.
• Recipe, SOP and food cost systems you have built yourself.
• A record of holding quality and speed standards across several stores at once.
• Culinary degree or formal culinary education.
• Experience as a head chef, including menu design at a busy fast casual.
• Bilingual, English and Spanish.
• Experience building teams.
• A record of humble leadership.

Responsabilités

• You’ll be the leader of everything we cook and serve: responsible for food quality, speed, consistency across every kitchen, the grab-and-go program, and the Kitchen Managers who run it all day to day.
• Lead and coach kitchen teams to ensure consistency across stores.
• Own kitchen training, curriculum, and certification processes.
• Build a bench of Kitchen Managers ready to step up as needed.
• Launch and run the grab-and-go deli at every store with fresh product available all day.
