Job summary

Confidential is seeking a senior management leader to oversee Project Management, Operations, and Equipment for large-scale heavy civil construction. The role focuses on profitability, operational excellence, and high client satisfaction, with responsibility for staffing, budgeting, and safety across projects.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in heavy civil construction, a Civil Engineering-related degree (MBA preferred), and strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Professional Engineer’s License is a plus.
• Minimum of fifteen years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction, including estimating, project management, scheduling, and cost control.
• Strong financial background with experience managing corporate and project budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead construction operations and large project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead PM, Field Operations, and Equipment functions to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Develop and execute corporate strategy while supporting effective company-wide performance management.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and financial management across all projects.
• Conduct project reviews and audits, monitor margins, costs, schedules, and performance; implement corrective actions.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents and drive professional development.
