In addition, the Senior Director serves as a strategic liaison to the Ipsen Global Strategic Business Excellence team, driving alignment, best practice adoption, and scalable initiatives across regions.

The ideal candidate is a senior, enterprise-minded leader with a proven record of influencing across functions, leading complex change, and translating strategy into measurable commercial impact. This leader brings a strong field orientation, customer‑centric mindset, and the ability to prioritize, align stakeholders, and drive disciplined execution against business priorities.

WHAT - Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as enterprise leader for field operations and enablement strategy, partnering with BU Leads and BOS Leadership to define annual objectives, priorities, and success metrics across Ipsen US.
  • Lead quarterly enterprise prioritization and performance reviews to remove barriers to execution, improve field effectiveness, and ensure alignment to commercial strategy.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams with an enterprise mindset, continuously evaluating organizational design to meet evolving business needs.
  • Drive transparent communication and stakeholder engagement across BOS, BUs, and Global partners.
  • Own end-to-end incentive compensation strategy and governance for Oncology, Rare, Neuro, and Value & Access teams, ensuring alignment to commercial objectives, regulatory standards, and budget commitments.
  • Lead the NA Incentive Compensation governance model, including audit processes, exception management, and executive review forums.
  • Partner with Global IC leadership to ensure alignment with enterprise guidelines while advocating for NA commercial needs.
  • Provide regular executive-level insights on IC strategy, industry trends, and budget performance to NA leadership.
  • Lead Field Operations and Commercial Operations functions, including Fleet, Meetings & Events, and operational project management.
  • Establish performance frameworks and KPIs for operational excellence across fleet, meetings, and field support functions.
  • Define and evolve field effectiveness KPIs to drive consistent improvements in execution quality across all US field teams.
Key Account Management & Training
  • Drive enterprise consistency and advancement of selling and Key Account Management capabilities for field teams and field leadership in partnership with BU and brand leaders.
  • Build coaching capability among field leaders to reinforce skill development and accountability beyond formal training events.
  • Maximize adoption of KAM across all US field teams and lead evolution of KAM processes, including the transition from decentralized spreadsheets to a centralized tool (e.g., Veeva for KAM) that facilitates cross-functional communication and streamlines logistics.
HOW - Knowledge & Experience
