Simbryo Technologies, Inc. in Cincinnati is seeking its first Head of Commercial to own the commercial function end to end: clinic adoption, patient demand, and brand management across both.
This newly created role reports directly to the CEO and sits on the leadership team of an early-stage biotech startup. You will build clinic relationships to enable orders and grow patient interest, working with clinicians, patients, and partners.
More than half of IVF patients quit treatment before reaching their goals, and the reason they cite most often is lack of success. Even with healthy, genetically normal embryos, many transfers fail, and until now there has been no scientifically robust way to measure whether the endometrium is the problem.
Simbryo Technologies is accelerating paths to pregnancy through organoid medicine and AI. Using technology developed at Rice University, we grow a model of a patient's endometrium from her own biopsy and test whether it can support implantation. SIMBRYO/fx is the world's first direct measure of endometrial function.
Our lab is CAP-accredited and CLIA-certified, and the test is in market. Our clinical study ran across four fertility centers: Texas Fertility Center, Aspire HFI, New Hope Fertility, and Reach Fertility. We are backed by TSVC, Metrodora Ventures, and others.

Clinic adoption and patient growth are the core of the role, and they grow together. The test requires an endometrial biopsy, so a reproductive endocrinologist or OB-GYN has to support the order. That makes physician relationships essential. Patients are also burning to know “will it work”, and insight into what to expect gives patients the confidence to start treatment and stay in it. You will build both sides at once: the clinic relationships that make ordering possible, and the patient demand that brings the question into the room.
At six months, the measures of success are clinics activated and Simbryo orders.
Experience in a commercial function at a startup is a must.Experience in fertility, women's health, or selling clinical products in healthcare settings in general is a plus.
