Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a Director of Clinical Education to lead the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of prelicensure nursing clinical education across all campuses and modalities. You will own SOPs, faculty expectations, and evaluation frameworks to ensure quality and compliance with accreditation standards.

The role requires a Doctorate in a nursing-related field or a related doctorate with a nursing degree, an active RN license, and at least five years of nursing

Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate in a nursing-related field or a doctorate with a graduate nursing degree.
• Active RN license in state of primary residency with eligibility for others.
• Minimum five years of professional nursing practice experience, preferably in prelicensure nursing contexts.
• Minimum of three years leading nursing education programs or clinical education.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, standardization, implementation, and continuous improvement of clinical education across all prelicensure nursing programs, locations, and modalities.
• Own SOPs, evaluation frameworks, and faculty expectations for clinical education.
• Ensure alignment with accreditation standards (HLC, ACEN, CCNE) and state nursing requirements.
• Develop and maintain standardized clinical evaluation tools for students and faculty.
• Collaborate with Chairs and faculty to meet program learning outcomes and ensure consistency across campuses.
• Travel as needed to support partnerships and clinical development.
