Digital Executive is hiring a Head of Client SEO Strategy & Delivery to lead the execution and performance of SEO campaigns for healthcare clients. This fully remote role requires a strong SEO background and agency leadership, coaching a team to deliver consistent quality and measurable results.

Hours are 9am–5pm CST, and candidates must be English-speaking. You will oversee strategy, execution, and delivery operations while driving client retention and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading SEO strategy and delivery in an agency.
• Strong technical, on-page, content, local SEO and reporting skills.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong SEO background, agency leadership experience, and knows how to build scalable processes that improve client retention, campaign performance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Lead SEO strategy and campaign execution across a portfolio of healthcare clients.
• Review and approve SEO strategies, technical audits, content plans, and optimization initiatives before implementation.
• Ensure SEO campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client objectives.
• Monitor campaign performance using rankings, traffic, conversions, and business outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Standardize SEO processes, reporting, and quality control across the delivery team.
• Coach and mentor SEO Strategists, Pod Leads, and Client Success Managers to improve campaign execution and consistency.
• Develop repeatable SEO playbooks and best practices that can be implemented across all client accounts.
• Identify technical SEO, content, and on-page optimization opportunities that improve organic performance.
• Partner with leadership to forecast team capacity, allocate resources, and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor account health, identify risks early, and implement solutions before they impact client retention.
• Ensure campaigns maintain profitability while delivering measurable value for clients.
• Stay current on Google algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and emerging industry trends.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading SEO strategy and campaign delivery, preferably within an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, content strategy, local SEO, and performance reporting.
• Experience managing SEO teams and overseeing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Proven ability to improve organic traffic, rankings, lead generation, and overall business performance through SEO.
• Experience reviewing SEO audits, keyword strategies, content briefs, and technical recommendations.
• Strong understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, and leading SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.
• Ability to translate SEO performance into meaningful business outcomes for internal stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience building processes that improve quality, efficiency, and consistency across teams.
• Must own and be able to use a working computer with high-speed internet.
• Must be ENGLISH-SPEAKING.
