Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial services, with leadership in capital markets controls.
• Strong knowledge of front-to-back products, regulatory considerations and risk controls.
• Proven ability to set strategy, operating model and annual plan for assurance.
• Experience advising executives and governance committees on material control weaknesses and remediation.
• Professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CRMA are assets.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the first-line control assurance strategy and target operating model.
• Own enterprise-wide assurance planning, portfolio oversight and testing.
• Lead quality, findings and senior decision processes with governance bodies.
• Engage with regulators, audit, risk, and business owners to drive assurance outcomes.
• Build and lead a high-performing Governance and Controls team across Capital Markets.
