Qualifikationen

• Deep familiarity with immersive Jewish camp life and a demonstrated ability to lead young people and adults in a communal setting.
• Experience working with children and adolescents, with an understanding of their developmental needs and the ability to create environments that support their growth, belonging, and well-being.
• At least seven years of senior leadership experience, including supervising leaders, developing teams, and managing complex programs or institutions.

Aufgaben

• Oversee Ramah’s overnight camp in Ojai and day camp in Los Angeles, combining inspiring community leadership with sophisticated executive judgment.
• Lead the year-round programming team, oversee camper and staff recruitment and retention, and ensure both camps’ operational and financial health.
• Guide Ramah’s programmatic evolution, building on its strong foundation in immersive Jewish life and learning, with emphasis on Judaics and leadership development.
• Oversee resources and operational practices that sustain two financially healthy, well-run camps, including budget planning and safety/risk management.
