Job summary

Genezen in Lexington, MA is seeking an experienced Automation Engineering Manager to lead the automation engineering team at the Lexington facility. You will implement program enhancements, oversee equipment onboarding, and drive process improvements while aligning with CFR 21 Part 11 and cGMP standards.

As a primary liaison to internal customers and external service providers, you will set goals, mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and represent automation topics in cross-functional

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with 3 years in a management role
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC/SCADA systems and support commissioning/validation
• Experience with cGMP, GAMP5, CFR 21 Part 11 regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead automation engineering team and drive program enhancements.
• Oversee new system installations, integrations, and upgrades; manage documentation.
• Administer CFR 21 Part 11 controls; ensure data integrity and audit trails.
• Provide budgets and schedules for automation projects; mentor staff.
• Represent automation topics in cross-functional and client meetings.
• Perform goal setting and performance reviews for direct reports.
