Job summary

Genentech, a Roche subsidiary, seeks a seasoned leader to head Analytical Sciences and Technology at the Holly Springs site. You will build an engaged QC organization delivering safe, compliant testing for CVRM products, starting with lab startup activities and moving to routine QC operations, stability, sampling, and method lifecycle management.

You will champion a proactive quality culture, drive Lean Leadership, partner with global networks, and ensure audit readiness across QC operations,

Qualifications

• BS or MS in science with 8+ years in pharma/biopharma manufacturing.
• At least 3 years direct QC operations at a finished drug product site.
• Strong knowledge of analytical methods and instrumentation.
• Experience with method validation, qualification, and transfer.
• Experience with stability programs and cGMP/ICH/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Author, review, and approve test methods, validation protocols, SOPs.
• Establish KPIs for Compliance, Right-First-Time (RFT), and continuous improvement.
• Own QMS records including investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and changes.
• Lead strategic QC projects and ensure audit readiness across QC operations.
