Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Enforcement Lead to manage a Cyber Enforcement Analysts team and drive enforcement across products and services. You will detect attempts to misuse AI systems, develop enforcement frameworks for cyberattacks, and work with stakeholders to close gaps in safeguards.

Safety is core to our mission, and you will balance policy, technical, and legal considerations while guiding a team through complex investigations, including weekend escalations when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; relevant cybersecurity or policy experience preferred.
• Experience leading a diverse enforcement or safety team.
• Strong background in cybersecurity practices, threat discovery, and risk assessment.
• Proven track record in content review, abuse investigations, or policy enforcement at scale.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Cyber Enforcement Analysts and contractors and guide enforcement strategy.
• Develop strategies to detect and mitigate misuse of AI systems for cyber operations.
• Collaborate with product, policy, engineering, and legal teams on enforcement cases.
• Stay current with threat actor tactics and apply best practices to enforcement decisions.
• Leverage SQL/Python for data analysis and threat detection as part of enforcement workflows.
