Job summary

AI agents are moving from experimentation into production—accessing enterprise data, invoking tools, writing code, and acting on behalf of people and organizations. As they become more autonomous, enterprises need a new trust layer: one that establishes who an agent is, who owns it, what it is authorized to do, and how that authority can be revoked. DigiCert is building that trust layer. DigiCert AI Trust Manager extends our foundation in digital identity and cryptographic trust to AI agents, models, and the agentic ecosystem—letting organizations discover AI assets, establish verifiable identities, govern access through policy, monitor activity, and revoke authority when trust conditions change. We are looking for a Head of AI Product Management to build this business from the ground up: an entrepreneurial leader who thrives in ambiguity, has taken emerging technology to scale, and can operate across AI, security, identity, and enterprise infrastructure. You will define not only what we build, but the category we create around it.

What you will do

Build the product and category

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for DigiCert’s AI Trust portfolio.
• Turn a fast-moving AI ecosystem into clear customer problems, product bets, and differentiated capabilities—including opportunities that have no established market category yet.
• Develop strong points of view on how identity, authorization, policy, provenance, attestation, and cryptographic trust must evolve for AI agents and models.

Scale

• Operate like a founder inside DigiCert: move quickly from customer problem to hypothesis, prototype, validation, and repeatable offering.
• Engage design partners and early customers directly to understand their AI architectures, security challenges, and buying criteria.
• Know when to experiment, when to iterate, and when to scale—balancing speed with the security and reliability enterprise infrastructure demands.

Be deeply technical

• Know modern AI and agentic architectures—LLMs, agents, agent frameworks, MCP, model infrastructure, cloud environments, APIs, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams on product design and technical tradeoffs, moving easily from a CISO conversation to a whiteboard session with engineers.
• Know identity and security concepts—PKI, workload identity, authentication, authorization, policy enforcement, attestation, secrets and credentials, and zero trust. DigiCert | Head of AI Product Management – AI Trust.
• You do not need to write production code, but you should be technical enough to prototype, evaluate architectures, challenge assumptions, and earn the trust of highly technical teams.

Build the business

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, and Finance on positioning, packaging, pricing, and go-to-market.
• Use customer, usage, competitive, and financial data to make investment decisions.
• Identify strategic partnerships across the AI ecosystem—model providers, agent platforms, cloud providers, and security and identity vendors.
• Build the repeatable playbook that takes AI Trust from early adopters to enterprise-scale adoption.

Lead through influence—and build the team

• Create clarity in a fast-moving market, aligning engineering, design, security, GTM, and executive stakeholders around a focused set of priorities.
• Set a high bar for product thinking, customer obsession, execution, and accountability.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a world-class AI product management organization as the business grows.

What you will have

We care more about what you have built than the titles you have held. You may have been a product executive, startup founder, technical product leader, GM, or early employee responsible for creating a new product or business

The strongest candidates will bring:

• A track record of taking technically complex products from 0 → 1, ideally followed by scaling them in the market.
• Product leadership experience in AI/ML, cybersecurity, identity, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, data infrastructure, or adjacent enterprise technologies.
• Technical fluency to engage deeply with engineers, architects, security practitioners, and AI developers, plus genuine curiosity about where agentic AI is headed.
• Exceptional customer instincts—you spend time with customers, find the problem beneath the feature request, and turn it into product strategy.
• Commercial orientation: enterprise GTM, pricing, packaging, partnerships, and business metrics.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with incomplete information and limited precedent, and able to move between multi-year vision and next-release detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and experience recruiting and developing exceptional product talent.

Particularly Relevant Experience

Valuable background in any of: AI agents and agentic architectures; LLM infrastructure; MCP and agent tooling; AI security and governance; identity and access management; workload or machine identity; PKI and cryptography; zero trust; cloud security; authorization and policy engines; model security and attestation; developer platforms; or enterprise security infrastructure.

No one has worked across all of these. We do expect you to learn extraordinarily quickly.
